FriendsGroove is a platform for music performed by humans. AI-generated tracks and AI voice cloning are strictly prohibited. This includes fully generative audio, AI-produced vocals, and cloned or synthesized impersonations of any voice. Uploading such content is a violation of these Terms.
Violation results in immediate takedown of the offending material and a permanent ban of the associated account. Founding numbers held by banned accounts are retired and are not reissued.
You must own all rights to the recordings and compositions you upload. Every upload requires an explicit attestation to this effect, and to the human-performance requirement above.
Artist status is granted only after human review of an application by a FriendsGroove admin. There is no automated or self-serve path to artist status.
Tips are processed by Stripe. Artists must complete Stripe Connect identity verification (KYC) before tips can be received. The Tip button is not displayed for artists who have not completed onboarding.
